We want you to be happy with your purchase! Here's how to cancel or return your order if you change your mind.
Cancelling an Order (Before It Ships)
If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, you can cancel it easily:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Order History and select your order.
- If you see a “Cancel” button, you can cancel right away.
Note: If the cancel option isn’t available, your order is already being processed or shipped. But don’t worry—you can still return it once it arrives (see below).
Returning an Order (After Delivery)
If your order has been delivered and you want to return it, you have 30 days from the delivery date to do so. That’s more than double the 14 days required by UK law.
To qualify for a full refund:
- Items must be unused and in original condition.
- Keep items in their original packaging, where possible.
- Any free promotional items included with your purchase must also be returned. If they are not returned, the value of those items will be deducted from your refund.
If you return all items within 14 days of delivery, you’re covered under your statutory right to cancel. In that case, we’ll also refund your standard outbound delivery charge.
Items That Can’t Be Returned (Unless Faulty)
Some items are excluded from change-of-mind returns:
- Cut-to-length products (e.g. fabric, ribbon, elastic).
- Sewing machines bought on finance, if repayments have started.
- Opened or activated software, including design cards and bundled programs.
- Downloadable products.
These are considered custom or digital goods and are only returnable if faulty.
How to Request a Return or Cancellation
- Log in to your account.
- Go to Order History and choose the relevant order.
- Click “Return Request.”
- Select the items and reason for return, and include any helpful notes.
- Submit your request.
You’ll get:
- An on-screen confirmation.
- A confirmation email.
- An approval email (with return instructions and address) once we’ve reviewed it.
Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund within 14 days, often sooner. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's done.
