Once it leaves us, it’s in the hands of our trusted carriers. Most deliveries arrive as expected, but times cannot be guaranteed, so we strongly recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment this festive season.

UK Delivery

• Free delivery on orders over £99 (UK Mainland)
• Orders under £99: From £3.19 via Royal Mail Tracked or courier (options shown at checkout)
• Highlands & Islands: Please allow an extra 1–2 working days
• Remote or hard-to-reach locations may experience longer delivery times
• Bank Holidays: our carriers do not deliver or collect mail on UK bank holidays, which may delay delivery by one day.

Despatch Times

• Sewing Machines and larger box deliveries, same-day despatch (Mon–Fri) for orders placed by 3 pm unless otherwise noted. 
• Royal Mail 48 Tracked: Within 2 working days (Mon–Fri).
• Royal Mail 24 Tracked / Courier Tracked: Orders before 12pm (Mon–Fri) despatched same day; after 12pm, next working day.
• During peak periods (e.g. Black Friday, sales), despatch may take longer.

Courier and Tracked Options (UK Mainland)

• Next Day Tracked (Mon–Fri):
  • Machine orders: Place your order by 3 pm for same-day despatch.
  • Fabric and all other items: Place your order by 12 pm for same-day despatch.
  • Orders placed after these cut-off times will be despatched the next working day.
• Saturday Delivery:
  • Machine orders: Place your order by 3 pm on Friday for delivery on Saturday.
  • Fabric and all other items: Place your order by 12 pm on Friday for delivery on Saturday.
  • Orders placed after the cut-off times will be scheduled for Tuesday (or the following Saturday if Saturday delivery is selected).
• Sunday Delivery:
  • Machine orders: Place your order by 3 pm on Friday for delivery on Sunday.
  • Fabric and all other items: Place your order by 12 pm on Friday for delivery on Sunday.
  • Orders after these cut-off times will be scheduled for Tuesday (or the following Sunday if Sunday delivery is selected).
• Royal Mail Tracked 24: aims to deliver in 1–2 working days
• Royal Mail Tracked 48: aims to deliver in 2–3 working days
• Redirection: An extra working day may be added if the item is redirected

Machine-Specific Notes

• Free weekday delivery on all UK mainland machines over £99
• Saturday and Sunday delivery is free for machines over £300
• Large machines (Brother VR, PR1X, PR680W, PR1055, PR1060W) are delivered on pallets with a pre-arranged weekday slot
• Machines are shipped in branded packaging, let us know if you’d like plain packaging for a gift.

Secure PIN Code Deliveries

Some deliveries are sent with a secure PIN code for your protection. A unique PIN will be sent to the email address or mobile number provided with your order, so please ensure these details are correct. Do not share your PIN with anyone, as it is required to complete delivery. Once the PIN is used and delivery confirmed, your machine will be considered successfully delivered.

Areas with Potential Additional Charges or Delays

Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Wight (PO30–PO41), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA20–PA78, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides (HS), Shetland Isles (ZE) and the Channel Islands (JE, GY).

Some orders may take longer to prepare or require special care due to size or weight. If delivery costs are higher due to size or weight restrictions, we may contact you to discuss adjusting the amount paid.

Tracking

You’ll receive your tracking number by email and/or text once your order has been despatched. For courier deliveries, you can track your parcel in real time using the courier’s website: Track Your Parcel

If you do not receive your parcel or the PIN notification, please contact us immediately.

 International Orders

• We ship to Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.
• Sent via Royal Mail Tracked Services
• Costs depend on size, weight and destination (calculated at checkout)
• Machines cannot be shipped outside the UK

Horn Furniture

Horn cabinets and tables are delivered directly by Horn UK. Delivery is normally within 28 working days (subject to stock). Horn will contact you three days in advance to arrange a time.

Please note: Delivery upstairs or through narrow access points is at the driver’s discretion.
